Scenes from Bangkok (with a Soundtrack for Strolling)

Here are my favorite recent photos from life in Bangkok. The accompanying playlist is my favorite for strolling the city streets. The music is from the DJs at the exquisite beach side lounge Ku De Ta in Seminyak, Bali, one of my favorite hangouts on the island.

Hua Lamphong Railway Station

On a stroll around the old part of the city I stepped into Bangkok’s main railway station to get something to eat. I was really hungry and wasn’t expecting to take photos there but several of my favorite photos from that walk are from inside the station. Its atmospheric main hall was full of backpackers, Buddhist monks, beggars and vendors, some of whom sell simply by laying their wares out on the floor.

This is from inside a temple. I love the digital clock displaying the time to the second below the statues of the Buddha.
